Oglethorpe Power Corporation is a not-for-profit power supplier owned by and serving the Member Systems.  As shown on the map, OPC owns part or all of several power plants throughout the state.  These plants combined can supply more than 4,700 megawatts of power.  OPC is the nation's largest power supply cooperative in assets and annual kilowatt-hour sales.

Georgia Transmission Corporation, a not-for-profit cooperative, transmits electric power to our Member Systems, who in turn deliver that electricity to 3.8 million electric consumers.  GTC builds and maintains reliable, cost-effective transmission facilities that meet the demands of population growth and increased power consumption.  Currently, the corporation owns, operates and maintains more than 2,500 miles of transmission lines and 550 substations.
