The Data Systems & Settlements group — Contracts & Business Analysis, Data Systems, and Energy Accounting & Settlements —  handle the contracts, data, and information side of our business.

We support our Member Systems and their power marketing agents, along with Oglethorpe Power Corporation and Georgia Transmission Corporation. 

Our major functions include hourly energy accounting, data archiving, reporting, calculation of hourly energy imbalances, administration of post-operational pseudo scheduling, calculation of transmission services charges, contracts/tariff administration and billing of non-Member generators under the GSOC tariff. 

In support of our Members, we develop and operate complex customized software programs to capture, process and deliver post-operational data and reports. 

We developed and we maintain the Web-based GSOC Data Portal as the primary means of delivering data, reports, documents and other information to each of our Members.
